Variegated squirrel caught feasting on a beautiful ripe mango. Variegated squirrels prefer soft fruits such as ripe mangos but also nibble on nuts, seeds, flowers, vines and fungi. Their colour varies substantially between individuals, even within the same area. They range from beautiful pale yellowish colourings to pale greys, making them very colourful squirrels.
