Iridescent green of a Resplendent Quetzal shining out from the green fauna of the cloud forest. Resplendent quetzals have iridescence feathers which seem to shine from green-gold to blue-violet. Because of their uniquely iridescent feathers they were considered symbols for spring growth by the Aztecs and Mayans, who also viewed them as symbols of goodness and light.
