Bennett's Feather star springing forth from a coral reef structure, like a flower amongst stony textures. The corals, sponges and tunicates form a colourful background as a Whitetail Dascyllus peeps out cheekily from amongst an Acropora coral. Feather stars are Crinoids, marine animals that attach themselves to reef structures and feed by filtering small particles of food with their graceful feathery arms.

Coral reef rebirth showing a Bennett's Feather star springing forth from a dead coral reef structure, like a flower amongst devastation. Coral reefs constantly refresh and multiply, battling climate change and damage caused by man and nature. Feather stars are Crinoids, marine animals that attach themselves to reef structures and feed by filtering small particles of food with their graceful feathery arms. Crinoids normally open their arms to feed at night, blossoming into a floral display on the night-time reef.
