Orange-chinned parakeet perched within a tropical dry forest. Orange-chinned parakeets are easily identified by their patch of orange feathers under their beak. They are small parakeets but very strong fliers with a very recognisable flying style that alternates between powerful strokes and dropping glides. This causes their flight pattern to veer from side to side when they fly in flocks.
