Meadow pipit perched on the edge of a dramatic island cliff, the beautiful vegetation of the cliffs edge contrasting with the dramatic blue sea. Meadow pipits are most often found in upland moors or islands although they move down to salt marshes and lowland habitats in winter. They have a high pitched piping call which aids in spotting them as their streaky brown colouring generally blends into their surroundings.
