Colugo (Flying Lemur) with a baby peering out from its mothers pouch, curiously surveying the world below him whilst still safely tucked away. There are only two living species of Colugo, the Sunda Flying Lemur and the Philippine Flying Lemur. Colugos spend the vast majority of their life within trees. They have a thin membrane which extends between their limbs. This wing like membrane gives them the ability to glide up to 70 metres between the branches of trees.

There are only two living species of Colugo, the Sunda Flying Lemur and the Philippine Flying Lemur. Colugos spend the vast majority of their life within trees. They have a thin membrane which extends between their limbs. This wing like membrane gives them the ability to glide up to 70 metres between the branches of trees. However they cannot fly and are not actually considered to be true lemurs.
